As our city prepares for the possibility of snow this Saturday, we want to take a moment to lift up the local restaurants that serve Memphis with heart every single day.
For many locally owned restaurants, winter weather can bring unexpected challenges: fewer guests, staffing concerns, and last-minute changes that are simply part of running a small business. Even so, our restaurant community continues to show up with resilience, creativity, and care for their guests and their teams.
If it is safe to do so, we encourage our community to support local restaurants ahead of the storm; whether that’s dining out, ordering takeout, purchasing a gift card for later, or simply extending patience and kindness to those working behind the scenes.
Memphis restaurants are more than businesses. They are family-owned operations, neighborhood gathering places, and a vital part of what makes our city feel like home. Supporting them during moments like this helps strengthen the community we all share.
Above all, please stay safe, look out for one another, and continue to show love for local whenever you can.
Stay warm out there friends!
