It has come to our notice that an individual is contacting people from the phone number 901-250-2129, falsely posing as our MRA President, Jeff Zepatos, and soliciting donations on behalf of the Memphis Restaurant Association. Please know that these requests are not legitimate and were not authorized by Jeff or by the MRA.
If you receive a call, text, or message from this number—or from anyone claiming to represent the MRA in an unusual or suspicious manner—please do not engage or provide any personal information or payment. Instead, report the contact to us immediately so we can continue documenting and addressing the issue.
The MRA will always communicate official fundraising efforts directly through verified channels, including our email communications, website, and in-person events. When in doubt, please feel free to reach out to me directly.
