After years of extraordinary leadership and service, Jimmy Kiser is retiring as president of US Foods, and we cannot let him go without showing him just how much he means to this community.
Jimmy has been an unwavering champion of Memphis restaurants for as long as most of us can remember. He has supported the Memphis Restaurant Association through the years with generosity, dedication, and genuine care for our operators and our people. Simply put, Jimmy is one of the legends of our industry, and our community is stronger because of him.
What has always set Jimmy apart is the way he shows up. Whether it was standing behind our restaurants in hard seasons, lending his time and leadership to the MRA, or simply being a steady friend to the people who make Memphis hospitality what it is, Jimmy has given this community far more than we could ever repay. His kindness, his integrity, and his belief in our city have touched every corner of our industry.
